There is no such thing as "Quality Time."
The idea that somehow, the quality of time is based on how it is spent is a
misguided thought.
Is Jury Time quality time?
Is the time waiting in line at the post office quality time?
What about right now? Is reading this really quality time?
All time is equal in length. It is equal in value, regardless of how it is
spent.
Ever hear anyone say they had spent quality time getting a good night's
sleep. Or quality time just being a good listener?
I've noticed that those who use this phrase usually imply that they sacrificed
precious time out of their busy schedule to spend time with others.
What's
wrong with this picture?
When they are alone, do they consider this quality time?
Anyway, to get to the rhyming part of this poem:
I willingly give you these moments where verses need not rhyme
Please be sure to tell others, we shared this quality time.
Now...I gotta run!
