There is not a word that can possibly explain
What a stillness came to my troubled breast
Like a gentle falling snow, like a whispered melody
The love of Jesus came to me.
I recall the time, I remember how it was
When my heart was like a darkened room and cold
But you suddenly appeared, sunshine flooded everywhere
And my life you filled with joy and song.
And now I know what it means to have
A heart that is happy and free
How can I describe what I feel inside
Since the love of God has come to me.
