Plowing a Straight Row Copyright (c) 2010 Van Wood I was out in the field at work one day when the master came by and he heard me say, “How do I know our crops will grow?” He said, “You just keep plowing a straight row.” Well the sun beat down but I kept going, helping to get us ready for sowing. Some of the others were moving kinda' slow, but I Just kept plowing a straight row. Come the end of the day and I was plumb tired; would I still have a job or would I be fired? Then the boss came by he said, “Don’t go... Just keep plowing a straight row.” Now others have come and others have gone, but I just keep plowing on and on; Hoping that someday my work will show...I just keep plowing a straight row.
